Four independents, one club — a HYBE-backed music project that recruits, not signs
The Wildcard Club is a VTuber music project presented by STUDIO TANGRAM and backed by global music company HYBE. Revealed on July 19, 2026, it gathers four of the biggest independent VTubers in the English-speaking scene — Ironmouse, Dokibird, AmaLee, and Rin Penrose — not as signees, but as captains.
The club is deliberately not an agency. Each captain keeps their independent career and leads a team built around a music genre, recruiting fellow VTubers through open calls to create original songs, albums, and live performances with HYBE’s production resources behind them.

LMNQ illustrated the official standing art of all four captains — the artwork produced as life-size standees for the club’s main stage and debut showcase. Every figure is drawn full-body at print resolution, posed mid-greeting so the cutouts read as the captains welcoming visitors into the club.
The brief demanded four wildly different characters — each with her own established design and fandom — reading as one lineup. The club tee anchors each outfit while hairstyle, silhouette, and styling keep every captain unmistakably her own; linework and rendering density stay consistent so no single figure pulls focus.

Debut at OffKai Expo Gen 5
The Wildcard Club debuted as the Grand Sponsor of OffKai Expo Gen 5 in San Jose, July 2026. The standees fronted the club’s clubhouse-styled booth — brick walls, zines, and a couch — and the captains’ Club Orientation on the Spotlight Stage, the artwork greeting every visitor who walked in.

As the club’s open call brings new VTubers into each captain’s team, the four standee illustrations remain the founding lineup image — the four faces that launched the club, drawn to stand at eye level with the community they were made to recruit.
