Onigiri Dance

Onigiri Dance (おにぎりダンス) is a personal animation project created in collaboration with VIVINOS, the Korean animation team known for ALIEN STAGE and the Pink Bitch Club series. The project is a playful animated music video featuring a song by ko.yo, with character animation and motion work that showcases a vibrant, energetic visual style.

A collaborative creative exercise, Onigiri Dance grew out of LMNQ's ties to the Korean indie animation community. LMNQ's motion direction meets VIVINOS's distinctive character and visual sensibility, and the result is a piece about the plain joy and spontaneity of dance.

LMNQ's involvement in Onigiri Dance encompassed motion direction, creative oversight, and coordination with VIVINOS on visual pacing and character choreography. The project combined traditional 2D animation techniques with contemporary motion graphics sensibilities to create a dynamic, rhythmic piece.
