A meditation on loneliness and the burden of eternity
Daydream is the first original song by Ouro Kronii, the Warden of Time of hololive English -Council-, released on February 21, 2022. The lyrics carry a bittersweet undertone: Kronii has accepted that she will outlive everyone, watching time run on to the end of all things. The song was originally titled "Nightmare"; her manager renamed it "Daydream," and the melancholy tilted toward something more wistful. LUMINA joined as MV editor and put that temporal loneliness on screen.

MV editing for a narrative of time and solitude
The video needed a visual language for the Warden of Time: clock mechanisms, metaphors of time, and the isolation of standing outside it. Taking cues from the TV series "Loki," the edit uses pillars of light and streaking lines for diverging timelines, backed by glowing cursive text drawn from hololive English lore. Every scene was framed to work as a desktop wallpaper on its own, so composition and balance had to hold up frame by frame.

From Nightmare to Daydream: visual storytelling through time
The creative direction came from Kronii herself: add clock ticks and monologue passages to sharpen her character as the Warden of Time. Those audio anchors became the backbone of the edit, marking the passage of time in every scene. With sound design carrying as much compositional weight as the visuals, the result sits a step outside the usual music video conventions.
Following the "Loki" inspiration, branching and converging timelines appear as pillars of light and streaking lines, while glowing cursive text weaves hololive English lore into the frame. Production took about 60 hours including 4K rendering. Each scene was composed to stand on its own as a wallpaper, so every frame was tuned until it could.
The visual approach came down to balancing the mechanics of time against emotional resonance. Clock imagery, timeline graphics, and text come together as a single meditation: watching every moment at once while unable to stay in any of them.

The start of LUMINA's partnership with hololive English -Council-
Daydream extended LUMINA's collaboration beyond the Myth generation to hololive English -Council-, and opened the way to working with the newer talents. The finish and detail of the MV became a reference point for Kronii's visual identity in her later content.
The project showed that LUMINA could handle quieter, character-driven stories: not just high-energy videos, but loneliness, the philosophy of time, and introspection. The 4K rendering and wallpaper-grade framing became a signature, shaping how LUMINA has composed and finished MVs across its work with the hololive network since.
